Another university league table
Honestly, I have no idea what to say about this one. My university comes in at number 49. And what’s wrong with Salford (or maybe right)?

49 out of 109, it just says that yours is just below *average*, that is the only thing to say about it, barely making 2 stars in a REF!:-)

Mazel Tov, it’s better by far being midway in that sort of survey than at either end. Far too many implications above 10 and below 100.

Salford has a lot of local students, living with mammy and/or daddy. This might well account for their lowly rating!

I can’t help but notice that the Scottish universities in general show up as rather mediocre in this table. And our students have a full four years to perform, against three years in Wales and England. Probably the climate.

From a pure metrology point of view, I’d imagine that the actual amount of sex one is having is probably inversely related to what you state publicly. That would mean that the table is the wrong way around …

Open University comes in third which says something about distance education
